Kalibre

Kalibre is a 14-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding. He was imported to the United States in January of 2002 by Jürgen Hoffmann, and he immediately set to work in teaching me the intricacies of dressage. I have learned a huge amount from him, and I will always be thankful to him for being so patient. We have won many awards together, the pinnacle being the USDF 2003 Second Level Jr/YR of the Year award with a median score of 67%. He was not shown in 2004 because I was busy riding Facet and only had time for one horse. He is unfortunately listed for sale because I'm going away to college in the Fall and won't have time for three horses. My mother will ride Endor, and I'll keep Farinelli, but my good friend Kalibre deserves a new rider who will play with him and show him off. I will definitely be sorry to see him go. My goals with Kalibre for 2006 were to compete in the FEI Junior Tests, and qualify for the NAJC in Lexington, VA as well as the USEF Junior Dressage Team Championships in Pebble Beach, CA.
