Endor is a 16-year-old, 17.2 hand Hanoverian gelding. Jurgen Hoffmann got him as an 8-year-old First Level horse and trained him up to Grand Prix, and was very successful with him at the Grand Prix Level, as was Jennifer Hoffmann. I was given the chance to ride him and then buy him in April 2005, and he is now my Young Riders horse. He was a big adjustment for me because he is much more difficult to ride than my previous horses; he is bigger size-wise, and his movement is much larger. It took me a while to figure him out, but this season has gone very well for us. We finished fifth in the Young Rider standings, with an average that would have qualified us in almost any other region. We now look forward to competing at the CDS/USDF Regional Championships in October.
